gathered by grace...

Welcome to the SMC website, this site should tell you a little about who we are, what we do and the incredible story that stirs our imagination. We've done our best to lay things out clearly and informatively but at the end of the day it's just a web site. If you want to discover the real heart of SMC you need to come and visit. Who ever you and, where ever you come from you are very, very, very welcome. SMC aims to offer space for those who need space, teaching for those who seek wisdom and most importantly a body of people with whom we can learn what it means to be the people God made us to be. We're on a journey none of us have all of the answers each of us reveals a little more of what God is like. We're a family friendly church and we're very relaxed. We look forward to meeting you soon.

Blessings

Rev Andi

Central to the life of SMC is a vision of lives changed and communities transformed. Becoming new, hope filled, joy-filled people begins in our gathering for worship which never ends and has no limits only huge imagination. Restore, is one product of that imagination aiming to aid the recovery of mental health through the therapeutic practice of woodwork. Similarly Remnants aims to build community by offering safe, creative and engaging space for some of the most isolated people in our community. For more details click on the icons below.

Did you know about...

10:03 Tribe   Tuesday's 5pm - 6:30

It's not all fun... actually, it is!

For children 5 to 11 year old the 10:03 Tribe is a safe space to build cohesive, peaceful communities through the exercise of music and play.  The club is rooted firmly in the Christian tradition and is open to all children from whatever tradition. Singing and playing is what we do an awful lot of. Silly games, messy games, funny songs, rhythm, harmony and melody are all ways in which we build confidence, celbrate faith and learn whart it means to be part of a community.
